The Dress
Beautiful fully sequinned Rachel Gilbert gown, "Charley". Has lovely Art Deco style embellishments on shoulders, but otherwise simple and elegant design. The sequins give the timeless, classic design of the dress a little extra sparkle, but they are very subtle and look beautiful in photos.
Stunning low back and fit and flare shape suits most body types and the sequins actually flatter your figure. Suits most shapes given the gorgeous design, somehow it just seems to fall beautifully on the figure.
I am a size 6-8 normally, and this dress still has about another size of give (and of course can be taken in).
Train is approx 1.5-1.7m long.
Double layer lining.
Incredible comfortable to wear - feels like wearing a slip dress. I absolutely loved the dress and had so many lovely comments. Would love to keep it but we are moving overseas.
Only worn once for 2 hours (changed to another dress for reception).

Alterations
Altered to fit height 168-178cm (I am 163cm but my shoes were 12cm) and to add a little extra shape, so taken in around the hips and knees slightly and loosened at the shoulders to help it avoid digging in to the underarms.
