The Dress
Beautiful satin and chiffon dress from Monsoon (purchased in 2012) with a short train. The tiered chiffon sleeves and a chiffon thigh slit on the right side are really flattering and give the dress lovely movement, and the diagonal beading adds to the sweeping lines of the dress. The dress is bias cut so this dress is a size 10 even though I was size 12 at the time of the wedding. I had a number of people, attending different events at my wedding reception venue, ask me where the dress was from, and said they thought it was designer! There are some small (each smaller than a 5 pence piece) and faint stains on the back of the dress, low down on the train, but because of the way the dress hangs they are hard to see.
I felt very special wearing this dress, and I had a wonderful wedding day. I hope that someone else can get the same joy from it.
