The Dress

July 2020 update: I've been quarantined for months and I'm 100% healthy therefore my home is safe and clean - and so is the dress. I thought I'd add that in case that is a concern for anyone out there. Thank you, take care... I hunted high and low for a wedding dress and found the perfect one for me. This dress is a combination of classy, beautiful, and sexy. I felt comfortable and elegant in it all day. I also felt mobile in it which is important on a busy day. The bust of this dress is amazing. It combines femininity and style with a helpful little boost that made me feel secure and confident (who wants to be glancing down to check their bust all day?). The decoration around the waist is a gorgeous combination of pearls and bling that catch the light. Not too much, not too little, just the right amount to compliment the look. This dress is amazing in action, it flows like a waterfall and is gorgeous to witness. I wore it one day only and then immediately had it dry cleaned.

With this dress you don't have to worry about it being the perfect length for you down to the inch because the bottom isn't a sharp cut that would require you to wear a specific kind of shoe. The sheer layers allow for wriggle room so you can decide if you want to wear a heel or a flat shoe. I chose a flat sandal so that I didn't have to worry about my feet getting tired. No one could tell because the dress is so flowy. If I had worn a heel, it still would have worked, I would've just had less material touching the ground at the front.

This style has a little train at the back so unless someone is holding it up, the underside of it touches the ground. I was in a nice resort with sleek floors and absolutely nothing was torn or damaged. The entire dress including the train is in excellent as-new condition. The only place that has a little bit of staining from the ground (probably the beach) is the underside of the dress at the very bottom which is not visible from the outside. It's the slip of the dress underneath it. Even though it wouldn't matter, the underside of the train that touches the ground looks immaculate, I was very surprised. It feels and looks like good quality, strong material, not cheap or cheesy. The color is elegant ivory white as wedding dresses should be, not the ghastly clinical white that is hard on the eyes and almost glows purple (yikes!). Check out the photos to see how various lighting environments affect the color and brightness of the dress. You can imagine that a stark white dress would be too much. The ivory white of this dress is bright and beautiful and not too light-reflecting for the camera.
