The Dress

This is a gorgeous one of a kind dress. I absolutely loved the Maggie Sottero Morocco dress, however I wasn't keen on the spaghetti straps, therefore I ordered an extra length of lace, and my seamstress made me some lovely delicate straps which she sewed onto the dress.

The dress is ivory, and has some very delicate beading and lace detail on the bodice and down onto the top of the skirt.

The label says US size 4/ UK size 6, however I wear a UK dress size 8-10 and fits me perfectly. I did not have any alterations made to the size or length of the dress, therefore is as made off the hanger.
I am quite wide at the hip, however, due to the a-line style, this dress fits perfectly, especially if you are a pear shape!

The dress has a corset under bodice, so feels very secure, and then delicate fabric covered buttons over the top, which looks incredible.

Dress has been dry cleaned and looks like new. The only slight imperfection is a small hole on one of the under layers of fabric where my heel caught. However, this can hardly be seen.
