The Dress

The Stevie is an absolutely stunning dress. It is simultaneously classic and modern, and the material and detailing are exquisite. I bought it and had it minimally altered, but ultimately decided to go with something more covered-up for a winter wedding. The dress has never been worn outside of a few minutes in fittings, and is in pristine condition.

I prefer not to post pictures of myself publicly but am happy to send along photos 1-on-1 of me wearing the dress from all angles so you can see the condition, belt addition, neckline, etc.

Note that while the dress does fit perfectly with my current measurements it is a loose, relaxed fit, so it would probably fit someone with slightly larger measurements too!

Alterations

Ordered from the designer with the neckline lifted 1 1/2 inches, which still falls perfectly right below the breastbone for a sexy but classy cut.

I had it minimally altered for fit, with the addition of the perfect matching white leather + floral belt from AG (the belt's additional retail value of $292 is included in the overall price here, plus the tailoring cost to sew it on which is not included) sewn onto the front for a little extra visual detail on the front.

The fit alterations were
1) a simple hem (I am 5'10 and ~6'2" with heels so the length should fit almost *any* bride still, with room for even more hemming if you choose!) and
2) the addition of a simple and pretty much invisible French bustle (three loops on entirely on the interior and two tiny buttons) that could easily be removed or ignored to add your own bustle.
