The Dress

Genuine late 1950's/early 1960's vintage wedding dress. Made in Italy by Enzo Russo Roma. Label says size 42 but I am a NZ size 10 and it fit me with a little bit of room to spare around the waist.

This beautiful dress features a semi-sheer lace bodice with a higher sitting neckline. The lace on the bodice has a little stretch in it for comfort and a little flexibility in the sizing. I wore a strapless, basque style bra under to create an interesting silhouette. The bodice fastens with an invisible zip up the back as well as little covered buttons at the side.

Bodice Measurements:
Length of the bodice from waist to top of neck - 40cm
Waist circumference - 74cm

The full, tiered skirt is a lovely tulle, edged with lace. It features a dramatic but still manageable train. The train has an option to fasten it up and into the dress to remove the train length for ease of dancing etc at reception.

Dress Measurements:
From the waistline to bottom at front - 116cm
From the waistline to the bottom of the train at fullest length - 144cm.

I had a custom satin belt made to cinch in the waist a little. This is included in the sale or you could add in your own.
