The Dress

I decided to have a pre-ceremony before my actual wedding in 2017, which allowed me and my husband to read our vows and gave us the privacy and intimacy we always desired! This dress had a very vintage feel without feeling "behind the times". I felt is was a timeless, elegant piece that made me feel like a princess!

The dress is sheer on the arms, top, and back, and have detailed fabric with pearl beading and translucent sequence pieces along parts of the arms, neck, and chest. The top layer of the skirt is also sheer with a heavier skirt underneath. The skirt also has beaded fabric in certain spots around the length of the skirt which gave the dress more character. The back starts as a zipper and then switches to buttons at about mid upper back.

The dress was a 6, and at the time I wore a 4, so it was a little big on arms and part of the chest. Having gained some "happy weight" in marriage, I believe it is a true fit for a 6 based on my size now. Given that I was going to have my actual wedding 2 months later in a different dress, I opted on having the dress altered, however, it would not take much to have altered if you are a true size 4.

The dress is an Oleg Cassini with the model number RN90059. I've searched for this dress online using the designer and model number on the tag, but I have yet to find it online.

The dress is in great condition, however, it has not been dry cleaned. I have taken $200 off of the price of my offer to compensate for the average cost of a dry cleaners ($150-$200 in Texas).
