The Dress

Love, love, love this dress! It is the most flattering dress I tried on, and I tried soo many dresses on. It embodies a timeless classic glamour with a contemporary twist. Its base layer is beautifully designed and hugs your silhouette, while the outer tulle adds drama and hides any bulges. I was nervous about the plunging neck line, but its designed to sit very elegantly which looked amazing with my curves. The back is so beautiful, giving the illusion of being backless, while holding the dresses structural integrity, perfectly made for anyone with curves. I have never gone bra-less before, not even for prom, however, this dress is designed with great support, and moves to fit any figure- it has stretch in the mesh which makes up the illusion of being backless. The lattice has sequined lace, and forms a classic A-Line silhouette (again contributing to its flattering shape).

Beautiful train to create beautiful bridal images, and has a 'train loop' so the dress can be easily scooped up and flung around the dance floor.

My budget for my dress was $500, I spent $1,908, but the dress is so stunning! hopefully I can help one of you stay within budget!

Alterations

I had $500 worth of alterations- the dress was taken up from the mid section, because lets be honest, no one is as tall as dresses are designed for. Because it was taken up in the middle it ensured all shape was perfectly kept and removed the bulge that the original dress created in the front. This also means that there is approx 2" at the bottom that can be easily removed if the dress is to long for you- the type of tulle can be cut without requiring stitch, which is great if you are on a budget or short on time. My seamstress did an amazing job.
