The Dress

Absolutely stunning Ash Gown by New Zealand designer Rue De Seine.

Worn at my wedding in November 2019, it is currently at the dry cleaners (ready early Feb).

I felt absolutely amazing in this dress, its almost got a vintage/ classic look to it with a gorgeous soft nude layer under and delicate french ivory lace over which is relatively thick. The fabric falls over your body and holds you in at the top and isn't to constrictive for dancing. I was able to wear shapewear underwear on the day as well without any lines showing. I had so many compliments all day and I would love to give another bride the chance to feel amazing in this dress!

I have seen ladies dress this up really elegant/ formal and also add a cowboy hat and boots for something more country.

- I am 163cm and the dress is the perfect length with high heels on. You can have it taken up further if you liked.
- The dress is a size 10 label but I had the top bodice taken in so it is now a size 8 at the top (would fit a size 8 to 10)
- Currently being dry cleaned at a top dry cleaner in Perth: Stannards Dry Cleaners (who specialise in wedding gowns)
- No longer available anywear in Perth
- Comes in the Rue De Seine dress bag
- Comes with the matching arm bands (I wore these at the ceremony and took them off for dancing at the reception later)
- Almost like new: no tears or rips (happy to send more photos when it arrives back from the dry cleaners in early Feb/ you can come and inspect yourself)
- Sorry the veil isn't included as I have gifted mine to my best friend to wear at her wedding this year
- I wore the dress with ivory block heels and vintage drop earrings and a simple bracelet but more blingy gold/ nude shoes and jewellery also match perfectly to the underlay.

Alterations

- The dress is a size 10 label but I had the top bodice taken in so it is now a size 8 at the top
- I had boning added to the top bodice to hold it up and hold you in without wearing a bra
- I had a bustle at the bottom added and also a loop under the dress you can use to pop on your wrist to hold the dress up for dancing later
- Extra hidden buttons added to the arm bands to hold them up.
