The Dress

I called this dress the Arwen dress because I felt like an elven princess when I tried it on. It is a perfect blend of sophistication and personality - I had felt like I was swimming in so many dresses, and this one felt like me. It fit my shape without being clingy, yet had enough elegant material so as to be special. It's a champagne color and it's very romantic - the photos outside with my bridesmaids look like we're in a Jane Austen novel. I added cap sleeves to it, and the lace we found fits the dress so well that everyone was shocked it wasn't part of the dress. My seamstress was able to add the same sort of glimmer to the sleeves, so it all has the same effect throughout. They also add a touch of beauty to the back, since that's what most people saw of me during the ceremony.

Alterations

This was a floor sample, so it needed to be taken in quite a bit. It didn't affect the shape of the dress at all! I have no doubt it could be taken back out to fit a larger bride, and could be brought in more for a smaller one.
