The Dress

The dress has a back zip, and is made of cotton, nylon with a polyester lining.

I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress, and received complements well after the wedding. People loved it! It was the first one I tried on, and I was hooked. This dress is absurdly comfortable. It breathes. It moves with you. It fits like a glove without constricting your ability to move or sit or dance. I honestly wish I could wear it again, I loved it so much.

Obviously, the dress was worn once, and we had a backyard wedding (mid September, and it was perfect for temps in the mid 70s), and it rained. It has been dry cleaned, however, the bottom back of the dress, which has a slight train, still has a bit more of a cream color than an ivory from the rain. It's not noticeable, but it's important to be upfront! (See last photo!) I have the original tags with it, as well as the dress bag, and original box.

Alterations

I had the length shortened and waist line altered (there is a "belt" detail that my seamstress brought up so it fell at a better area on my body. This dress off the rack is probably perfect for someone 5'6". I wore ~3 inch wedges, and it was the perfect length for me. The seamstress left me a small train in the back which was lovely, and gave me optional light padding, which I used (and will include).
