The Dress

Hand-made and custom-designed, lace and silk wedding dress for sale! I designed this dress for my wedding three years ago - and have made the decision that now is the time to part ways with it and hope it makes another bride's wedding dress dreams come true!

It was based on a number of different wedding designers - and created in conjunction with the most incredible dress-maker/ designer, called Allison Rodger (her shop is based in Fulham, London). The reason I chose a custom-made dress as I simply didn't feel happy in anything I tried (and I tried on lots of dresses)! It's perfect for someone who wants something that you'll never see another bride in.

As we all know, feeling magical on your special day is so important - and for those looking for something that little different, but also classical and a style which won't age, this dress is ideal. Designed for a warm climate, as I was married in Ibiza, it cleverly conceals a nude bra and can be tailored to suit any bride from a size 6 to 10. It is made for a small size 10 - but could indeed be made smaller. Essentially it's a backless dress, but with support for those who wouldn't feel comfortable without a bra!

It was honestly my dream dress and I felt like an absolute princess in it.

It has been professionally cleaned but the lace needs fixing just under the right arm - however this is easily done. For anyone that would buy this dress & need it altered, should you wish to have the lady that created this dress do this, I can certainly put you in touch.

The lace on the body is hand-stitched lace, mesh and the silk skirt is matte silk and double-lined so it drops beautifully, hugging the body in all the right places. I didn't even need to wear Spanx for a smooth line!

Alterations

This would really depend on your body shape as it was fitted to my body which was a small size 10 at the time. It could easily be altered to suit any figure from a UK size 6 to 10.
