The Dress
I loved this dress because it was minimal but had the wow-factor because of the huge train and lots of tulle layers in the skirt. I'm not really a dressy person but this dress made me feel like a fancy bride without being flouncy or frilly.
I had a bustle put in to tie up the long train - this was great for after the ceremony and some of the photos, as I didn't want a dress that felt like a physical burden. It was great for dancing! The tulle makes it very light to wear. The bodice is fitted - I am quite flat, and wore this without a bra. The whole dress was made to fit, is a very simple design, and could easily be taken in or out. It also comes with a thin removable belt which you could replace with something more glitzy if you wanted to.
The dress has been dry cleaned and has no flaws at all. It is a stored in the protective bag from the bridal shop I bought it from (The Tailor's Cat in Cambridge). I'd love someone else to wear this on the happiest day of their life, rather than it sit in my wardrobe for all of eternity.
Alterations
This dress was altered to take in the bodice as I am lacking in the chest area (am a AA cup, although the style of this dress gave me a slight figure, which was nice).
