The Dress

Poppy Stardust has a form fitting structured bustier with a dramatic full skirt. Fullness kicks out from this low hip point into a full skirt and train. A clean, chic silhouette is contrasted by the use of a bold, and heavy corded lace. Placement lines on the bodice, and the use of different laces appeals to our fun loving modern brides.

This beautiful dress was worn for my wedding in Italy last year, Aug 2019. It’s such a beautiful dress and very flattering of the figure due to all the different line placements of lace. I received so many fantastic compliments about this dress.
The off the shoulder lace straps really add to the look of this dress too.

I purchased it from The Wedding Club in Birmingham in a UK dress size 10 (so it says 10 on the label) and had the dress altered to fit my measurements, I am a UK dress size 6 (please see my measurements above).
The cups on the dress are a DD size as I have a bigger bust and are lightly foam formed.
My height bare foot is 5ft 5inches and I wore 10cm heels on the day.
The dress is corded lace and is quite heavy to hold although as it is super figure hugging I did not have a problem with it falling down at all. It stayed in place all day.
It is ivory in colour with a nude underlay which is also very flattering.

**I am NOT selling my lace cape veil. This I had designed and made especially to match the dress and I love it so much that I want to keep it as my souvenir. However, I am happy to give you the details of the lady who made this should you be interested.***

The dress has not yet been cleaned. There is some dusty staining to the underneath and hem line but the lace itself has no wear or tear. The third under layer as a tiny hole near the bottom at the back measuring roughly 3mm as my heel caught it, but this can not be seen as it is underneath.
