The Dress

The Carnegie design is made from laser cut lace and the most exquisite dress to wear.

It was custom made by Georgia Young in Melbourne, the dress is a mix of laser cut lace and silk with an underlay in mushroom tone. I am 165 cm in height and wore a shoe with a heel of 9cm on the day. When measuring from the top of the straps, to the base of the dress, it is 152cm in length.
My favourite feature of the dress was it’s pockets! So handy for a bride!
This dress has been worn once and professionally dry cleaned and back to brand new.

As the dress is A line, I was so comfortable all night. I ate and drank and danced non stop and never had an issue or felt restricted. I adore this dress and its been a hard decision to sell it, however I would love another bride to get the same enjoyment out of it as I did rather than it sit in a box forever.

Alterations

I had alterations done once I had received the dress to make the bodice fit like a glove. No bra required. I also had the length taken up to sit just at the floor, a bustle added for dancing and an arm loop to make it easy to walk around when having photos taken.
