The Dress

I wore this in July 2019 and it was the talk of my wedding - it is totally show-stopping!

I felt wonderful in it- I was sad to take it off. The quality, the way it moves are hard to describe. The 3-D flowers and attention to detail are eye-catching.

It features European molded cups, corseting, is off the shoulder. The bodice is semi-sheer. Low back with peek-a-boo sheer corseting is a demure, yet sexy detail. Slim A-line three dimensional floral skirt with shimmer and cathedral train finishes the look on this gown

I contemplated keeping it because it’s such a special piece but I don’t really have room for it and I don’t see the point in leaving it sit in the closet for years and years.

I am 5’10” so it is quite long - but of course, can be shortened.

It has been dry cleaned, is in great condition except for:
- the sleeves which I had added on did rip a bit in the back but has been fixed - I would suggest adding an elastic to the sleeves for better movement (note- I discounted the price by 300 to reflect this - would not cost that much though).
- I took out one piece of backing - I have scoliosis and one hip sits higher than the other- as such, it was digging into my hip - it could easily be re-added when alterations are done though (also discounted price by 150 to reflect this - would not be that much).

*when I say discounted the price -I intended to take 65% off but I am adding an additional 450 off.

Alterations

I added a bustle in the back to support the drapery so you can move around in it/dance/wander around comfortably.

I changed the sleeves by making them a bit wider for support - this was an easy change to do.

I added some flowers along the bra line (they were extras that were provided by Berta) to give a bit more coverage.
