The Dress

Lovers Society is a beautiful New Zealand brand that creates modern wedding gowns for the unique bride.

The Harley Gown -With a bold, floral embroidered lace alongside a streamline crepe, the Harley gown is equal parts feminine and classic. Contoured panels are edged with a cotton trim, slimming the waist and elongating the torso, then tapering into a flared skirt with a generous crepe train.

A nude tulle upper bodice gives the illusion of an off the shoulder style, while giving a supportive fit. Floral lace petals over the upper arms and across the bust. The back is beautiful with the lace complimenting the design perfectly.

This dress was worn for 4 hours in total and looks brand new after being dry cleaned and stored in a box wrapped in tissue paper.

I loved wearing the Harley Gown, it complimented my curves nicely due to the beautiful lace pattern that emphasized the waist and hips. The off the shoulder is also so well done by Lovers Society, the nude tulle was barely visible but felt secure throughout the day. The material was also thick enough to hide any bumps from any underwear.

Alterations

Alterations were done by the very talented ladies at Sew Special in the city.

I am 173 cm and i wore 8 cm heels for the wedding, so the dress was taken up only slightly.

I also had a ribbon bustle added (you can see in second photo, B soft cups added and a small alteration to take the dress in at the waist. Total cost for alterations was $950.
