The Dress

I started dress shopping thinking I wanted something of the princess feel and experience for my wedding day. A halter-top sheath dress was not on my radar. The stylist convinced me to try on this dress and I was instantly in love. This dress made me feel elegant and beautiful. It was a gorgeous compliment to the garden wedding that I was planning.

The dress fit wonderfully. It hugged the natural curves of my body without being too tight or restrictive. I was able to easily move, bend, dance, and sit. The only drawback to the dress was the tulle neckline that rubbed against my collarbones and irritated my skin when I tried it on. I had my makeup artist spot that area with some extra makeup and didn't have any trouble on the day of the wedding.

I added a belt from Untamed Petals (seen in the pictures, which I would be willing to chat about adding). There are two hooks in the hem that come together to form the bustle and there is a wrist loop at the hem of the dress as well. The inside hem of the dress shows some wear from walking outside, but otherwise the dress is in excellent condition.

Alterations

I had very minimal alterations to the dress. It was hemmed to my height and there were nude cups sewn into the bust.
