The Dress

As soon as I tried this gown on I knew it was just perfect. It's elegance writ large.

The timeless full skirt supported by a mesh backing at the hem to give it structure, and has plenty of movement; just look at it flair out! The bodice and neckline are crisp and contemporary: a totally flattering fitted bodice with a wide boat neckline at front and a deeply dipped back. The deceptively simple detailing is well considered throughout by the designer; see how the capped sleeves narrow off and are applied onto the back on the dress as an embellishment, rather than just stuffed away, and that the zip is also a robust and contemporary hardware detail that is also celebrated rather than stitched in as a last minute necessity.

I wasn't sure if I wanted a full length gown (for the look/ level of fancy) or an ankle length gown (for the practicality/ ability to show off shoes), and this gorgeous dress is both! The varied length of the skirt makes the structure and movement of the pleats and folds even more enchanting and you won't trip over.

And it has pockets. Not kidding.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress, and everyone commented on how both unique and timeless it was. It has of course been dry cleaned and there are no marks or stains on it. It has also not been altered. I'd love for someone else to experience the joy of this wearing this elegant gown.
