The Dress

This silk gown is in label size 8. The gown has a mikado silk mix ball skirt with pleats around waist and 2 pockets. White/Off-white colour. Strapless neckline underlay is a straight across neckline (not sweetheart). The gown has a silk chiffon sheer overlay top with boat neck and elbow length sleeves. V neck back with fabric covered buttons as display (fastens with concealed zip underneath). Chapel length train. Net underskirt creates volume in the skirt. Has not been worn to a wedding.

Bought as a sample from the spose di gio store in Belgravia, London. It does not need dry cleaning-has been kept inside plastic dress bag and the hem has plastic covering sewn on to protect it from getting dirty when tried on in the store. The chiffon on the back of the dress just above the buttons has some small tack marks where the pins have been used to hold it to size when it has been tried on in the shop. This is not really visible when worn against the skin and if you'll be wearing a veil will not be visible at all. There are small tears to the silk chiffon underarms (one on each side), however excess fabric has been used here so that alterations can be made to any tears (can send photos of these if needed). Does not come with waist sash shown in the catalogue photos (I have enquired with spose di gio and this can be purchased for £300 from them directly).

Also have an off white silk headband (unused and label still attached) which matches the dress and really compliments the style - looks great with or without a veil attached to the headband. Can send photos and add this on for a small extra cost (original purchase price £55 from Design by Hummingbird).
