The Dress
This dress was sooo beautiful and surprisingly comfortable as the material is quite stretchy. This dress really appealed to me as it’s a little different from the “standard” wedding dress and somewhat simple but still so elegant and absolutely timeless. I didn’t want anything that would restrict my movement so this dress was perfect for slipping between tables and even going to the restroom unassisted! It’s a light gold so depending on the light it will look warmer in some pics but whiter with a flash. In the sun and under lights the intricate beading shimmers and is absolutely beautiful.
I only wore this for a couple of hours and was inside for most of the time so is in wonderful condition and dry cleaned.
I’m 175 cm tall with approx 4-5 cm heels and was floor length.
This really was ‘the’ dress (I even cried when I first tried it on!)so I wish I had an excuse to keep it and wear it again! I hope someone out there will love it as much as I did.
Alterations
Very minor alterations made to the point that this is almost an off-the-rack size 12. Under arms let out slightly due to my broad shoulders, and length taken up by approx 1-2cm. The only real change was the train was shortened to enable easier movement and to prevent people standing on it!
