The Dress

Maggie Sottero Andraea - Size 4 altered dress; This dress is ivory but beautifully bright with Swarovski crystals and silver/ pewter beaded details leading down into the soft tulle of the train. Favorite part of this gorgeous dress are the detailed thin straps. It has a zipper and button closures up the open back of the dress.

Dress only worn once for my own wedding and was professionally cleaned after. It has been stored in the garment bag it came in, carefully hung and protected since worn. There are no tears, rips or stains.

Included in the price shown is also my crinoline made of a few layers of tulle. This is a separate piece I wore underneath only for the ceremony and pictures to add a little volume down the body. This piece has also been dry cleaned.

The bustle of the dress is unique and was designed to compliment the dress with 5 hidden clear buttons so that the bottom layer of the dress can be evenly gathered and draped. There are three tiny loops found at the bottom of the crystal detail on the back of the dress where the top later of tulle can be gathered.

Alterations

The dress is a size 4 and I had just a few things done to it but spend a decent amount on alterations. (I spent well over the asking price.) I had the sides taken in just a touch to be a little more snug. I had cups put in and the straps tightened to give more of a lift. (I'm usually size 34B) The bustle was custom made and I did have them take some length off the dress so it wasn't too too long but I still wanted a decent size train (not too long or too short) and it turned out beautifully.
