The Dress
Selling my Maddison James (MJ405) Size 10 dress that I wore for my wedding this past July. This is a one-of-a-kind dress – it usually comes with the choice of nude or blush underlay but I had the dress special ordered from the designer to be made with an ivory underlay. It was so much fun to wear and now I hope to make another bride’s special day!
Originally paid $1595 + tax from Champagne and Lace Bridal Store and had $600 worth of alterations done by their in-house seamstress. I am unsure of the additional special order costs for the dress as C&L graciously covered the cost of this after they made a mistake on underlay options available when I originally purchased the dress.
The dress is size 10 (I’m a street size 6-8) and I only had alterations to the length and bust (brought in and cups were added).
I am 5’7” and wore 1 inch sandals. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in excellent condition.
