The Dress

I bought this beautiful bohemian dress last year, in preparation for our wedding in 2020. I was always looking for a relaxed, flowing style and this dress was exactly what I had in mind. It has a gorgeous V-neck with delicate lace around the bust, voluminous sleeves and stunningly intricate beading under the bust that makes this dress truly sparkle in the light.

Sadly the dress does not suit me - I’m only 5’ 2”, with a bit of a bigger bust, and I cannot walk in heels so I didn’t want to wear heels with my wedding dress. The skirt is so lovely with the detail around the knee that I felt it would be a shame to have it cut shorter to fit my height. Also I struggle to find bras that suit my bust shape at the best of times, so unfortunately I couldn’t find a way to make myself feel comfortable in that part of the dress.

I don’t have a photo of me in the dress as I’ve never properly worn it - I’ve only tried it on twice - and I wouldn’t do the garment it’s due justice because of my fitting issues listed above. I procrastinated for a little too long as I was worried I wouldn’t find something I loved this much, so I couldn’t return the dress for a refund.

This dress would be absolutely perfect for someone who’s a little taller or who is planning on wearing heels on their big day. It is also in perfect condition due to it never being worn, and comes in a plastic dust cover and a linen bag.
