The Dress

Worn once for my wedding in Northumberland, UK in August 2019.

The Enzoani Larissa gown was exactly what I'd dreamed of for my big day – an ivory gown which was simple yet elegant from the front, but with a jaw-dropping intricate lace detailed back. It is a mermaid style dress made from soft stretch Georgette fabric. It has a sweetheart neckline, and I added a jewelled belt to enhance the elegant front (it is sewn onto the front, ending at the side seams). The jaw-dropping intricate low illusion Gulpure lace back, crystal button closure and lace train did not need enhancing! The dress has a wrist ribbon and a reinforced bustle fitted for the evening.

As it rained on our wedding day, the sides of the dress got slightly marked however I have had it professionally hand-cleaned by a Specialist Wedding Dress Cleaning Service which cost £160. There are some VERY subtle stains which they could not get out on the side, but they are genuinely only noticeable if you point them out. If you wanted it completely stain free you would need to hem 5-6cm off the length. Note: the stains are only around the side seams, so hemming it would not affect the lace train. More than happy to send photographs to serious enquirers.

It is a stunning dress, and I would love for someone to wear it and love it as much as I did. I also had a cathedral length veil worth £160 which is like new, and would be happy to include this in the price.

Alterations

As most wedding gowns run small, I purchased a size 12 and had it altered to fit a UK size 8-10. I am 5ft 6in (167 cm) tall and wore 3.3in (8.5cm) heels. I weighed 59kg on my wedding day, and am normally a 34A or 32B cup. The measurements from my seamstress post alteration were: Bust 33.5”, Under Bust 28”, Waist 26”, High Hip 34.5” and Hips 39.5”.

As mentioned above, I also added the jewelled belt which can be seen in my photographs.
