The Dress

I'm selling my beautiful dress that I wore to our wedding reception in October 2019. I am quite sad to part from it but as I had 2 wedding dresses I cannot justify keeping them both stored in our tiny apartment and would much prefer someone else to wear it again.

I absolutely loved this dress!! Not your typical bridal gown, I think it would suit a laid back bride that wants to look classic and beautiful but with minimal fuss. It has the most stunning embroidered lace fabric and I received so many compliments. It was a limited edition dress so it is no longer available to purchase anywhere!

I only wore it for our 4 hour reception rather than the whole wedding so it is in great condition. It was so comfortable, and not restrictive at all so I could eat as much as I wanted and dance like no one was watching!

I think Needle&Thread runs slightly large, because I am a size 6 (aus) top and size 8 bottom, but the dress is actually a size 4. I am DEFINITELY not a size 4. The top of the dress is fitted but the skirt of the dress is very flowy and flattering.

Bra cups have been sewn in to the lining, but these could easily be removed. Aside from this there were no alterations as I knew I would only be wearing it for a few hours. I am 5"4 and was wearing 4inch heels and the dress was probably 1 inch too long, but was still manageable as it was just the tulle that was slightly longer.

I wore shoes with metal stars on them which snagged at the tulle right at the bottom but they are only very tiny snags right at the base of the dress and are not noticeable at all due to the many layers of tulle, and especially not if the dress was to be shortened. The dress has been drycleaned and aside from the few snags in the tulle it looks brand new.
