The Dress

DESCRIPTION:
From Odylyne the Ceremony's 'Star Crossed Lovers' collection, our Juliet gown is the heart of our collection. With hand-beaded embellished floral lace. A form-fitting bodice with a deep v-neck, the skirt hugs at the natural waistline before falling into a dramatic full sweeping train. Dramatic bell-sleeves wing the silhouette, creating one of the most romantic looks of the collection.

SIZE:
The gown was custom made to my measurements (as included above).
I am 181cm and wore flat shoes with the gown - see photos for dress length.

Typically I am an Australian 10 - 12, or US 6 - 10. This dress, however, is somewhere between a US 10 - US 12 as per designers size guide (can be viewed on their website via the link above).

ABOUT:
The dress is incredible and whilst I really wanted to hold on to it I figured I should share its magic with another bride as it deserves to be worn more than once!
I had it made for my wedding in April 2017 and wore it only for the ceremony and formal part of the reception, after which I changed dresses so that the gown was kept in wonderful condition!

As with any beaded gown, some beads fell off but this is not noticeable overall.
There are some markings on the hem (happy to supply photos if desired). However, as I am tall, it is likely that the dress can be taken up and therefor these markings would not be visible.
It is otherwise in perfect condition!

It has been dry-cleaned and stored in a sealed bridal gown box since the wedding... just waiting to be worn again!
