The Dress
I absolutely loved wearing this gown, and I got so many compliments for its unique style. I was looking for a classic, high-neck dress that felt young and fun. I did not want a stereotypical wedding dress while all of my guests were wearing hip, fashion-forward dresses-- I wanted to be fashionable too :) !
This dress checked all of my boxes: fitted silhouette, detailed lace (which was so detailed and far different from the lace I'd been seeing on many of the other dresses I tried on), and fun and memorable. I also loved the a-symmetric appliques, which were beautifully made, and funky too.
I found this dress in boutique wedding shop in NYC, and it is by a (very talented) Israeli designer, Adam Zohar.
Alterations
We had to take it in under the arms (just a small pinch on each side), and I needed to downsize the cups that originally came. We also took up the length.
