The Dress
This dress has a V-neck and a plunging v-back, an illusion bodice and natural waistline, geometric lace, scalloped hem, and a sweep train. All of the fabrics are polyester blend, and the ivory lace is embroidered on nude illusion tulle/netting. The sand-color lining is a stretch-knit charmeuse so it's really soft and comfortable - one of the things that made me fall in love with this dress is that it is comfortable and light. Unfortunately, my photographer didn't get any straight head-on photos, but the silhouette is a stunning hourglass. It was made by Justin Alexander for the private label of Maggi Bridal, a North Carolina boutique. The dress is a size 6, but it should fit a street 2. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs.
Alterations
I had the dress shortened (I'm 5 2" and wore heels, and the dress just grazed the ground), the waist taken in, and the skirt pinched in mid-thigh to create a more elegant fit through the thigh. I also had it bustled.
