The Dress

This stunning silk creation from Ian Stuart has a lovely sheen to it. It has a ruched bodice top (not separate to the skirt) with a beautiful intricate band of beading and crystals at the top. The bodice has some subtle crystal details throughout and flattering ruching. The back of the dress has a line of silk covered buttons running all the way from the top of the back of the bodice right down to the end of the train.

The dress is A-line, but not too flared out from the bodice. The quality and weight of the material means the skirt falls well. The back of the dress is finished with a large draped bow which sits perfectly, and a fairly long train (from top of the bow to the end of the train is approx. 165cm). The bow is detachable. You can also hook the train up to the back of the dress for dancing!

Bought in 2010. Immaculately kept, and professionally dry cleaned by the company recommended by the designer.

This includes the silk bolero which finishes the dress beautifully, and an ivory beaded choker to match the bodice beading.

Fits size 8-10. Worn with three inch heels.
