The Dress

This dress is absolutely everything! I bought this dress in 2018, it is the Verdelle 1.0 (the 2.0 has full length liner comes standard, this one is the original liner), other than that they are the same fit/length.

We eloped in Greece and I felt like a goddess in this dress! I bought the Farrow Dress from GLL also and didn't even wear it because this dress is so stunning (in my opinion :) ). Specifics for this dress: I bought a Medium so that I could have it taken in to my specifics but not be super skin tight (was worried about bust being too small and waist too tight in a small as I was on the cusp). My specific measurements will be below, typically I wear a 6, sometimes a 4 in dresses. As I am petite I had the slit on the legs closed about 4" at the top but that can easily be opened if you prefer.

There are a few tiny stains on the lining and then the very bottom hem, they are on the eyelashes which are meant to be trimmed but I love those as is so did not trim them. My dry cleaner uses all natural sustainable products so it was not harshly treated. Sleeves would need to be pressed before wearing as they do fold in when cleaned, this is from the little eyelashes and lace. The neckline I also had raised as I am between a C/D cup I did not want to accidentally expose myself. The length of the Verdelle is made so that it does not need to be hemmed for any height so that was not touched or altered.

Alterations

Slit in front lower closed 4" (I am petite, the cut went essentially to the bottom of my underwear had I left it). Bust raised to be both tighter on the cups, eliminate side boob, and to be a little more modest (originally went lower than cleavage). Also overall had it taken in to fit a Small rather than Medium. See measurements in description. The fabric is lace stretch so is pretty generous for sizing.
