Tasseled wedding skirt Charlie Brear

This skirt is so comfortable and sits beautifully on hips. The way the skirt moves as you walk/dance/turn is incredible! It's a bit different and fun if that's what you're looking for. The movement of it is fun and textured, and it the skirt looks really elegant when you're still. I had a hook and eye to the waist a couple of weeks before the wedding as it was slipping down with the weight of the skirt as I had lost a bit more weight. This kept it in line with the belt and on my waist. Without doing up the hook and eye it is still a 12 as purchased. I'd say the skirt is a 10/12

With my measurements the skirt fit nicely with a fair bit of room on my bum and hips - really comfy as I said before.

Worn two consecutive days.

This skirt is in great condition but there is a tiny stain (most likely red wine splash) which I could have cut off as it's on one of the tassel strands but I thought I'd leave that to the buyer. There is also evidence of two pull marks inside the dress underskirt which are completely invisible from the outside. I think I stood on the dress and pulled the underskirt slightly so it has stretched the silk underneath.

I have had the skirt dry cleaned. Couldn't hurt to do another clean in my opinion but others have said they think it's very clean so it's down to personal preference and opinion.

I wore a bespoke top by KMR Bridal with the skirt and there are also some lovely Charlie Brear tops to pair with it. They just didn't suit me. I also wore a light gold Charlie Brear belt and a bespoke veil which I am also selling. It went really well with the skirt with it being so plain and very long.

I'm sad to say goodbye but I won't wear it again and the pictures are a great memory. Plus I wanted this skirt so badly and trawled the internet to find a cheaper second hand version as it was over budget.

Alterations

The skirt has been shortened to fit my height with heels. One layer of the tassels has been removed and the same has been removed in the length of the under skirts.

The waist has not been altered but there is the addition of a hook and eye which was used on the day to reduce the waist size by an inch or two.
