The Dress
From Alexandra Grecco- The Edith Gown is a gorgeous long sleeve dress featuring a plunging deep V neckline and front slit to the knee. Flowing, made of 100% silk charmeuse. Off white/Winter white. Satin covered buttons, front slit in skirt, 100% silk, made In NYC in 2019. I am 5' 3" 145 pounds, size 8/10 USA. 5' 6" with wedding shoes.
Alterations
I had two additional buttons added to make the very low plunging neck less dramatic. It has been altered for my height with my shoes (5' 6"). Has a short train and added a loop at the bottom to hold dress up when walking. The shoulders were moved up slightly but the seamstress was amazing and took the sleeves off first in order to keep the beautiful yoke at the top in the back. The sleeves were tightened slightly to keep the billowy look of the sleeves without dropping too far down on my hands. They also added some handy hook and eyes underneath for the buttons near the waistline to keep everything very smooth and secure. It's absolutely stunning!
