The Dress

Before we got married, my (now) husband said every single dress looked alike. When I met him in this dress on our wedding day, he said, "this one is different."

I hope you can feel as beautiful and have as much fun on your wedding day in this dress as I did. It deserves many more walks down the isle because it is perfect.

I tried on 15 dresses of various styles and knew this was THE dress immediately (because I burst into tears). I wore it from 10 AM until 11PM and was comfortable the entire day. It is fitted but flexible in all the right places to sit, kneel, dance, eat, etc. It was the perfect balance of classic and sexy.

It was dry-cleaned after the big day and I wore if for twenty minutes a few months later (the Catholic blessing pictured). I could only see it in the sun when holding the bottom up against the mid-section, but dry-cleaning did strip some of the color from the train of the dress. This did not show up in pictures and no one else noticed. I also replaced a button on the back and it is not a perfect match (but this would be a $2 fix if you have a sewing store with more options near you).
