The Dress

Stunning dress from American brand Casablanca, style "1975". First two pics are dress shown on other brides/modelled, last two photos are actual dress. Feel free to message me for more pics :-)

This is new and unworn still with tag, it was a sample in store, but not tried on for long as it looks pretty much new. As you can see on the inside there aren't marks or anything.

NO alterations - so the perfect canvas to alter to any shape or fit.

The quality is incredible, gorgeous detailed ivory lace with thick satin underneath. Nice alternative to grace loves lace, with better quality lace! It also has boning (which you could easily take out) in the waist, for a very body flattering corseted look if you want that. Beautiful v neck strappy style, it has a bit of bust padding but you could always remove this - or add more!
Because it isn't that flimsy thin material it's very flattering on the body - meaning you won't have to "suck in" and can eat properly on the day ;-)

The only reason I'm selling is that I now need a more casual and lighter dress for the type of wedding we are going for.

This dress is size US 10 on the tag, but wedding dresses are notoriously smaller fitting - it fits me well and I'm size NZ 10 to 12 and "medium" in clothes usually. When trying on Stella York I was size US 10 also.

It would be good for (and support) those with a bigger bust, C or D cup, but also could be taken in and straps shortened for smaller bust.

I would prefer pick up in New Zealand, I am in Christchurch but travel to Auckland often, and sometimes Hamilton, so could meet in any of those places to give you the dress in person if you want to purchase.

Would definitely post within NZ too with a tracked signature courier, however I don't feel tooo comfortable sending overseas because of the value of the item.
