The Dress
Dress could be considered a vintage--26 years old. Worn once, perfect condition in that it was cleaned immediately and packed at dry cleaners and has never been opened. Formal gown is white satin featuring a basque bodice with a high illusion neckline and detailed appliques enhancing the neck and bodice. Strand of pearls crisscross the back bodice. The satin pouf sleeves are enhanced with lace ending with points over the hands. The cathedral length train is highlighted with cut-out appliques of lace and pearls. The entire train is scalloped with lace. Wedding gown back is open with pearl details and bow at the back of the waist--back of the dress and train is the outstanding feature of this gown. Gown sleeves are long with satin, lace and sheer and could be altered to shorter length. Neckline could be altered to be open and bow at back could be removed. Beautiful gown with a lot of exquisite details.
