The Dress

This is a beautiful 2-piece Berta dress I purchased new from a local boutique. It has an illusion necklace with beautiful appliqué over the front and back of the dress. The dress has an open back and flows beautifully down to the floor. There is a slit that starts at the knee but can be opened or closed! I purchased a cathedral length detachable skirt in peplum horsehair which is included in this listing! It hooks onto the Berta dress and is open in the front. I wore the full ensemble to our ceremony then took the skirt off for our reception! This is the perfect dress- it is so unique, comfortable and jaw dropping. The skirt and dress have been dry cleaned, in perfect shape and ready for the next bride to love! NOTE: Berta runs extremely small. I was a size 2 on my wedding day and the dress still had some room to wiggle. It’s technically a 38/8 but fits like a 2/4

Alterations

I had a few alterations done to this dress! I brought the slit down starting just above my knee because I felt it was too risqué at the hip. This can be opened or closed by your own alterations! I am 5’11” with heels and had a tiny bit of the length off but maybe like half an inch. I also had the cups changed to a more tan color because the default cups were very, very pale and stuck out like a sore thumb. These can also easily be swapped out by your alterations if needed! Loops were added to the dress (you cannot see them unless looking really close) so the skirt can be attached.
