The Dress

Kenneth Winston Style 1573. Bought for my wedding on Aug 10, 2019.

Beautiful elegant fit-and-flare dress that outlines the body shape perfectly - enhances the slimness of the waistline while showing sexy hips! After hunting through 15+ dress shops, this dress caught my heart immediately, as it is classy but not too overwhelmingly formal. The train is elegant and not too puffy. Lacing is intricate and gorgeous throughout the dress.

Alterations

Alterations were done at the bust (closed in a bit so the chest is not too revealing) and hips (taken in to outline the curve of the hips better and sexier). One single layer of crinoline was taken out at the bottom as I thought the dress looked way too puffy from the front view; there are other layers of crinoline still remaining so the dress still maintains its shape, while giving a softer, simpler, and more elegant overall look. Hemming: the dress touches the floor when I wore half-inch flats on my wedding day (I am ~5'5 tall). A 3-point bustle was made (see beach photos), the train can be gathered up onto a pearl bead near the hip, in case you need to dance. Includes a belt, which was not used. Personally I think it looks way better without the belt!
