The Dress
This is the Melissa gown from Theia Couture. It is soft, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful. The silk chiffon is lightweight and flows so naturally. It has a flattering and comfortable ruched bodice and a small train. I also had a bustle added for dancing.
This dress has only been worn once - at my wedding in July, 2019. It was so comfortable that I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! But I am hoping it can have a second life and make another bride as happy as I was with it.
The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to be worn again.
Alterations
I had some small alterations done: the straps were shortened and the bust taken in slightly, with thin cups added so I did not need to wear a bra. For reference, I usually wear a 32C or 34B. The train was shortened and length taken up so that I could wear flat sandals (and I am 5'4''). I also had a simple bustle added for dancing that worked very well - it is just one button on the outside that three loops hook onto.
