The Dress

Vintage style dress, in cream colour, with delicate lace detail. The skirt has several layers of fabric with the top layer being lace; a small bustle provides additional volume without going crazy. Button detail on the back (with the bottom third also including a zipper to ensure the right fit). Simple in style, but with beautiful detail which gives it something really special.

I felt completely glamourous on my wedding day, but also free to move around. The dress is incredibly comfortable, and it has a built-in bra; the fabric is soft without any itchiness.

I was a size UK 14-16 when I bought and wore the dress, there were minor professional alterations done on the sides to ensure that the dress sat snugly on my body via the internal (stretchy) bra straps. I'm 5'3" and wore two inch heels on the day, so the dress would still be tea length on someone a few inches taller in height.

The wedding photos show a beaded belt, which was added and is not included with the dress (I'm saving that as my keepsake from the day!). It means you can add any style or colour of belt to customise it further (or leave it without the belt for a simpler look - as per the photos on the hanger).
