The Dress

I loved this dress the minute I tried it on. I am not a fan of the conventional wedding dress so I went for a two piece. I also enjoy a dance so I wanted to make sure I could move well in my dress. I wish that I could wear her again but with no occasion to do so, it is only seem right to let someone else enjoy her for their special day. This dress deserves that. I was never going to be that person who keeps their dress in a box on top of my wardrobe, it would be such a waste.

Both pieces are Charlotte Balbier, Lyric Bridal Topper & Saint Bridal Skirt

When wearing 3.5in (10cm) heels I am 172cm (5ft6) without shoes I am 162cm (5ft3)

The dress has not been dry cleaned but the skirt has been in the washing machine (which is safe to do so with this fabric) there are a couple of faint marks on the bottom of the skirt train but not enough for anyone to notice on the day, only noticeable when pointed out.

Alterations

The length of the skirt at the front had to be raised as it was too long. The back stayed the same length so it had a small train still. A new full length lining layer has been put in as the original one stopped at the knees and could be seen through the dress.
