The Dress
I bought this dress from the flagship Pronovias store in downtown Barcelona for $4,250. See pictured receipt. It fit off the rack, and the only alteration I had made to it was a discreet button on which to attach the train. The handmade lace, satin sheath and train haven’t been altered or cut since the gown was created in Spain. I had this dress dry cleaned by one of the best cleaners in California. I haven’t opened the bag since I got it back from the cleaners. They did say there was a light stain on the bottom of the dress, and that it could likely be lifted with wet cleaning. I elected to leave it alone, and if the next owner wishes to have it wet or spot cleaned they can have it done.
Before cleaning, I had it measured by a seamstress, so please refer to the measurements as they’re very accurate. Bust: 32” Waist: 28” Hips: 39” Crotch to Floor: 60” with Train included: 86”
I’m 5’ 7” and weighed 155lbs at our wedding.
This dress is stunning in person. The handmade quality is tangible - it’s truly a beautiful garment.
