The Dress

Stunning Elizabeth dress by British Designer Andrea Hawkes, elegant contemporary and minimal.

The dress has a boat neck is slim fitting with a gorgeous train. Low buttoned back. The dress is in a heavy silk.

I wore this dress for my winter wedding last year with a tulle overlay top also by Andrea Hawkes (now sold) and it felt lovely to wear and I had lots of compliments on the simplicity. You could add a more decorative top or overlay to personalise as you wish. Would also be perfect for a Spring/Summer without the top.

I have had it dry cleaned and it’s come out well but as it’s silk, there are still a few light marks (not really noticeable particularly if you chose to have an overlay) on the dress itself and some very light mud stains at some bits along the bottom of the train which could be removed if dress was taken up. I have listed at a low price to reflect this but the dress retails for over £2000 new so it’s still a real bargain!

I am a size 10 and this fitted me perfectly but could probably be taken in/let out. I am 5ft 2 and wore 4 inch heels.

Alterations

Shortened and taken a bit at the back. I had bustle ribbons put in for dancing in but they can easily come out.
