The Dress

I absolutely adored this dress. This dress is Made with Love's Willow, with a custom Stevie lace bodice and skirt slit. The dress was comfortable and easy to wear and move in, with incredibly soft layers of tulle and a romantic train. The Willow dress has now been discontinued by Made with Love, so this combination (skirt and bodice) won't be available to purchase again!

I didn't need to take the hem up with my measurements - the front of the dress stopped perfectly just above the floor, making it easy to walk in. I kept the longer length at the back of the dress to create a beautiful short train. I had soft cups put in the bodice, which can easily be removed or swapped for cups that support greater push-up if you'd prefer.

The Willow with a skirt slit arrives with a short underlay, but I didn't like how this can show through the tulle when you're caught in the light - so I had this replaced with a long underlay that still allows for the split (and moves together with the tulle layers).

I wore this dress for 4 hours for my wedding ceremony and photos - I changed outfits for the reception. The dress has been dry cleaned ($250) and is in perfect condition - no marks or rips. The dress will be posted to you in the box I received it in, together with the garment bag. Postage free within Australia, negotiable internationally.

I submitted the following measurements when I purchased this dress:
Bust: 83.5cm
Underbust: 75cm
Waist: 69cm
Hip: 104cm (although your hip measurement doesn't matter, given the flowing skirt).
Shoulder to floor: 141cm (without heels), Height: 167cm (without heels), Heel height: 5.5cm.
Height with shoes: 172.5cm.

Note that Made with Love makes their dresses to standard sizes - not custom. So I received the standard size 10 gown (as confirmed by my measurements), which I then altered for the cups + underlay. No other alterations were required.

Alterations

- Soft cups with minor support (can be removed, or swapped for different sizes).
- Short underlay was replaced with long underlay which still allowed for the split in the skirt.
