The Dress

This gorgeous, sexy and delicate dress made me feel simply perfect on my big day. No doubt, I would choose it again and again and I wish there was another chance to wear it, so hopefully it will make another bride-to-be super happy on her most special day.
Description: Bold lace adorns this sheath gown from Martina Liana, giving it a unique look for the bride in search of something fresh and different. The plunging V-neckline of this gown is adorned with bold lace detailing, adding a Rococo-inspired feeling to this design. This bold detailing extends through the gown’s side cutouts and down through the hips. Laser-cut lace accents the front of this gown, creating a breathtaking lace pattern and texture. Double beaded shoestring straps extend from the front of the gown into a geometric-inspired strappy back, accenting a sheer bodice. A dramatic, bold lace train completes the look. The back of this lace wedding dress zips up beneath pearl buttons.

Alterations

The dress fit me perfectly and needed no adjustments except for the length of the gown as I'm not very tall (1.60cm and wore 11cm-high heels - so consider my total height on the day as 1,71cm tall). The tailor cut the hem, shortened the gown and resewed to recreate the lace pattern at the bottom.
She also reinforced the string laces to give extra support to my breasts throughout the whole day.
The dress has been entirely dry-cleaned after the wedding day.
NOTE: I did enquire and a good tailor could easily add length with a piece of similar colored lace fabric if you're taller than me.
