The Dress
I purchased this dress from Still White for my wedding last year. It was a great experience to buy a beautiful dress that had been worn just once in a wedding in 2017. I wore the dress in September 2018. The dress was very comfortable and easy to move in. It has been dry cleaned and kept in a smoke-free home. The fabric is ivory lace over a darker ivory/ taupe (called cafe) satin. I absolutely love the train. It’s just long enough for the ceremony, yet easy to bustle for the reception.
Alterations
There was a slight slimming of the waist before I purchased it. I made just two alterations since I am a bit shorter than she- I am 5’ 5” and wore 2 inch heels. I took in the seam at the top of the shoulders and took up hem in front but did not adjust the train.
