The Dress

This was my absolute dream dress From Carolina Herrera's Fall 2012 collection and re-released in the Fall 2013 collection. This dress was purchased at the Carolina Herrera store on Melrose Place in West Hollywood, CA. This dress exceptionally incorporates several elements - a hint of vintage in the lace overlay on the bodice and a slimming, elegant cut for a modern touch. The many finer details like the stitching and the curve of the neckline and beautiful pleats gliding into the train complete the overall look that is perfectly balanced and elegant. The dress is composed of Carolina Herrera's signature silk Mikado and Chantilly lace over the bodice. The dress has an amazingly flattering fit and would fit a 6 or 8 street size. The dress has been customized with a French bustle. The strapless silk Mikado trumpet gown with carved neckline and Chantilly lace applique is modern with a touch of romance. Heather remains in perfect condition due to being professionally dry cleaned & preserved directly after use. This process cost a total of $900 and is of no charge for you. The gown has not been removed from the box since preservation, which means that it will be practically brand new for your wedding day!

Alterations

Taken in across the waist and hips, french bustle added and hemmed 1 inch at bottom.
