The Dress

Made for size 12, but taken in to fit a size 8 by my expert seamstress, all excess material cleverly hidden within the dress layers, invisible to the eye but allowed for it to be taken back out again, should a size 10 or 12 woman want to purchase this.

My dream dress, a stunning colour of cream floor-length lace, fitted over the top of layers of champagne-coloured silk.

The effect is a beautifully warm white dress, great for women like myself who are fair and don't suit stark white dresses.

Sheer lace front with intricate lace embellishment overlays a sweatheart neckline, very flattering shape.

Low button-back, elegantly covered by a sheer layer of lace too, beautifully stitched pattern visible in the lace.

Fit and flare silhouette, but unlike other fish tale dresses I tried I could actually walk in this dress, it allows for plenty of movement, whilst maintaining a dramatic shape. Extra lace peticoat and hoop included if you want to wear underneath to exaggerate flare even more.

Dainty scalloped sleeves and long train, which can be bustled or looped up on the wrist for dancing - see photos.
