The Dress

Purchased the gown made-to-order from Union Bridal in Vancouver and received it in June 2019. I wore it once for my wedding in September 2019. I loved that the dress was felt so much lighter than some others I had tried on, and it was super comfortable too. I had so much fun in this dress and I'm hoping it'll make someone else just as happy.

Note:
-The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned, but as the dress is 100% silk (excluding flowers & illusion details in the back), it was hard to restore the fabric completely, and there are very minor spots remaining near the hemline in the back, and near the side. Attached are 4 pictures: zoomed-in back spot (pic 4), zoomed-out back spot (pic 5), zoomed-in side spot (pic 6), and zoomed-out side spot (pic 7). However as you can see from the pictures they are VERY minor and hard to see unless you're really looking for them close-up. Otherwise the dress is in perfect condition.

The dress took about 6 months to arrive. In addition to $4400 for the dress, I paid $180 for alterations and $150 for dry-cleaning. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the dress! I would love for the dress to find another very happy owner :)

Alterations

Alterations:
- The gown was purchased at size 8, but I had some minor alterations done to loosely fit my measurements (33B 27W 38H)- I wanted a more loose fit so that it doesn't feel tight.
- The front hem was slightly taken in (I wore the dress with a 1.5in heels and the hem hit the ground), but the length of the train has NOT been altered and is at original length. The height indicated here includes heel measurements.
- The dress is not bustled, but there are two small ribbons sewed on the inside near the end of the train so that you can use them (like a ringlet - see 3rd picture) when you walk or dance.
- Light cups sewn in, but these can be taken out if you prefer.
