The Dress

The dress was handmade. It has exquisite beading detail at the waistline which really draws the eye in to its flattering design.

The top half of the dress is a gorgeous satin material with boning which created a smooth neat fit. It has a zip at the back to fasten with a hook at the top of of the zip. The button detail on the zip line is beautiful. The bottom half of the dress has several layers of material which gave a full skirt shape without adding to the hips.

The floating style of the material and the overall shape of the dress just made me feel like a princess and so special when wearing it as soon as I tried it on.

The dress was a neat fit on the top half and loose on the bottom. I had the dress taken in to fit as neat as possible. I also had the halterneck strap added in the same material with three button detail at the back of the neck to match the back of the dress. The halterneck could be removed if desired.

The dress is in excellent condition it was dry cleaned one week after being worn and has been carefully stored in a protective dress bag and hung up to maintain its shape. There are some marks on the inside layer of the front of the skirt however these will not be seen at all when wearing the dress.

It is an absolutely beautiful dress and it would be wonderful for it to be worn again to make someone else feel as special as I did.

Alterations

The halterneck strap was added in the same material as the top half of the dress. It could be removed again if desired.
